I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I am a bilingual therapist with several years of experience and extensive training in working with youths and families.
I graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I further continued my education at the university to obtain my Master of Science degree in Counseling.
I have experience with a variety of settings; from individuals, couples, families, and groups diagnosed with adjustment disorder, ADHD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and depression. In addition, I worked with High Risk Habilitative (HAB) clients referred by the Brazoria County’s Correction Department. I conducted intake assessments, as well as provided clients with the appropriate therapeutic intervention based on the outcome of their scoring.
Throughout my education, I realized that I wanted to focus on providing hope for individuals experiencing hardships in their lives. Sometimes we get into the position of thinking that we are not in control of our situations, and allow obstacles overpower our abilities to move forward. With suitable guidance, we can recover that power and make appropriate choices that our beneficial to our daily living.
My mission in this field is to guide people in becoming the best version of themselves. I believe people have the potential to be happy and determined with the right influences surrounding them. My objective is to provide you with the tools necessary to rebuild your life in a safe and trusting environment.
